Pet photography

Where reading dogs meets the camera.

Two things have run through my whole life: understanding the psychology of dogs, and a love of photography. For years they sat side by side — and then they became one. Pet photography is what happens when you don’t just point a camera at a dog, but actually read him: you learn to wait for the one honest moment — the flicker of calm, the mischief, the trust — and press the shutter exactly then.

Every session is unhurried and on the dog’s terms — in the studio, or outdoors in natural light where a dog is most himself. No forcing a pose, no bag of tricks; just the same patience and reading of energy that runs through everything at Being K9, turned toward a portrait.
